BEIJING, July 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted Fiji Islands region at 2250 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 584.5 km, was initially determined to be at 20.77 degrees south latitude and 178.47 degrees west longitude. ■
