JAKARTA, July 15 (Xinhua) -- The Indonesian government has raised fees for several citizenship-related applications under a new regulation that will take effect on Aug. 1, local media reported Wednesday.
The fee for obtaining Indonesian citizenship through marriage-based naturalization will increase by 66.7 percent to 25 million rupiah (about 1,383 U.S. dollars) from 15 million rupiah.
The fee for foreign nationals applying for naturalization will also rise to 75 million rupiah per application from 50 million rupiah. ■
