SARAJEVO, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Police in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) have seized a large quantity of drugs, weapons and explosives and arrested one suspect during an operation targeting drug trafficking, authorities said on Monday.

The operation, codenamed "Olympus," was carried out on July 10 in Sarajevo Canton, the Federal Police Administration (FUP) said. Officers seized about 4.5 kg of suspected cannabis, 400 grams of suspected cocaine, five liters of amphetamine oil and around 30 liters of methanol used in amphetamine production.

Police also confiscated a hand-held rocket launcher, an automatic rifle, four hand grenades, four ammunition magazines and around 400 rounds of ammunition, along with digital scales, vacuum-packing equipment, mobile phones and other items believed to be linked to the suspected crimes.

Authorities said another suspect remains at large and a manhunt is underway.

The operation was part of an investigation into suspected drug production and trafficking, as well as the illegal possession of weapons and explosives.
