Speaking at the handover ceremony, Liu Baijun, Chinese director of CIUG, said that Zenaddo International School is one of the institute's Chinese-language teaching sites, adding that the donation would not only help improve the school's teaching and learning but also strengthen friendship between China and Ghana.

Shi Shenghai, an engineer from the Chinese firm, said that the 2026 China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchange provides an opportunity for the company, which has operated in Ghana for more than two decades, to deepen its engagement with local communities beyond infrastructure development.

Zenobia Anum-Addo, principal of Zenaddo International School, described the donation as an "unexpected kind gesture" from the two Chinese organizations, adding that the school introduced Chinese language classes about a year ago and that students have shown strong enthusiasm for learning the language.
