GAZA, July 12 (Xinhua) -- Four Palestinians were killed and at least one injured on Sunday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a blacksmith's workshop in Gaza City, according to Palestinian security and medical sources.
Palestinian security sources said an Israeli drone fired at least three missiles at the workshop in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
Medical sources told Xinhua that four people were killed in the strike and at least one person injured.
The airstrike caused extensive damage to the surrounding area, witnesses said, adding that the victims' bodies were transferred to a hospital.
The Israeli military has not commented on the reported strike.
According to data from Gaza-based health authorities on Saturday, the death toll from hostilities since Oct. 7, 2023, had reached 73,221, with 173,643 people injured. ■
