SINGAPORE, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's state investment firm Temasek Holdings reported a net portfolio value (NPV) of 518 billion Singapore dollars (400 billion U.S. dollars) as at March 31, 2026, marking a doubling of its portfolio over the past decade, supported by gains in its Singapore-listed companies and strategic divestments, the firm said Wednesday.

The firm said in a statement that its one-year total shareholder return stood at 10.5 percent, with NPV rising 49 billion Singapore dollars from a year earlier. However, performance was partially offset by a 2 percent portfolio drawdown in the final month of the financial year due to events in the Middle East.

The firm said it remained active in China, where its underlying exposure increased by 10 billion Singapore dollars over the year as market valuations recovered.

Looking ahead, Temasek plans to expand its exposure to artificial intelligence-related investments from 6 percent of portfolio value currently to as much as 15 percent by 2031, focusing on areas including data centers, semiconductors, cloud services, foundation models and AI applications.
