GAZA, July 7 (Xinhua) -- At least three Palestinians were killed and several others injured in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, Palestinian sources said.
An Israeli drone attacked a group of Palestinians in the al-Aqqad area in central Khan Younis, killing one and wounding three others, eyewitnesses said.
Earlier, local sources said an Israeli aircraft struck a tent sheltering displaced people near the Gaza seaport, west of Gaza City, triggering a fire and causing casualties.
Medical sources said rescue teams recovered the body of a 46-year-old man and evacuated two wounded people.
In another incident, a 30-year-old man was killed and five others, including four children, were injured in an Israeli drone strike in the al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis.
Five more people were injured after Israeli drones opened fire on a group of Palestinians northwest of Rafah, according to local sources.
Also on Tuesday, Israeli forces demolished four Palestinian homes in separate operations across the West Bank, according to Palestinian sources.
Gaza's health authorities said in their daily report that the death toll since the ceasefire took effect on Oct. 10 last year has risen to 1,076, with 3,474 others injured.
The overall death toll in Gaza since the conflict began on Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 73,102, the authorities said. ■
