BEIRUT, July 6 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed on Monday during an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle in the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon, Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported.

The dead, whose bodies have been transferred to hospitals in Nabatieh, were identified as Principal of the Youssef Chamoun Public School Esperanza Ghandour, her mother, a foreign domestic worker, and a Syrian laborer, the NNA reported.

The four were riding in a Jeep Cherokee on the Dar al-Muallimeen wa al-Muallimat road when they were targeted by a guided missile fired from the drone, it reported.

So far the Israeli side has not commented on the strike.

The strike occurred despite a framework agreement recently reached between Lebanon and Israel aimed at ending hostilities along the border.

According to data from Lebanon's Public Health Emergency Operations Center, Israeli attacks since March 2 have killed more than 4,300 people in Lebanon, with over 12,200 others wounded.
