BEIJING, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Senior Chinese anti-graft officials met on Friday to study a speech delivered by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, at a gathering marking the CPC's 105th founding anniversary.
Attended by members of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, the meeting also studied Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building.
Li Xi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, presided over and addressed the meeting.
It is necessary to fully, accurately and comprehensively grasp the significance of Xi's important speech and Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, and consciously apply it in advancing the high-quality development of discipline inspection and supervision work on the new journey, Li said.
Noting that the discipline inspection and supervision organs are an important force in advancing the Party's full and rigorous self-governance, Li urged the officials to take the initiative in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities and to faithfully serve as loyal guards of the Party and the people. ■
