BEIJING, July 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 jolted Kuril Islands at 0822 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 34.0 km, was initially determined to be at 48.32 degrees north latitude and 154.30 degrees east longitude. ■
