JAKARTA, July 2 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko agreed here on Thursday to strengthen bilateral cooperation by launching the Indonesia-Belarus Cooperation Roadmap 2026-2030.
The five-year framework focuses on enhancing ties across various sectors, including agriculture, trade, manufacturing, and food security.
Indonesia and Belarus have complementary potential to strengthen cooperation in modern agriculture, fertilizers, agricultural machinery and technology, as well as heavy equipment, Prabowo said in a joint press statement.
On the economic front, the two countries agreed to expand partnerships in industrial development, agricultural modernization, supply chain strengthening, and technological development.
To bolster the partnership, the two countries signed a number of memorandums of understanding covering cooperation in health, culture, industry, as well as science and technology. ■
