During the 2026 "Bond with Kuliang" China-US Youth Baseball Exhibition Games and Sports Festival in Fuzhou, young American baseball players stepped beyond the field to experience touhu (pitch-pot), a traditional Chinese game with a history of more than 2,000 years.
Originating from ancient archery rituals, touhu challenges players to toss arrow-like sticks into a narrow-necked pot, blending precision, etiquette and friendly competition.
The cultural experience offered the young visitors a fun way to connect with Chinese traditions while building friendships through sports.■
