JAKARTA, July 1 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian state-owned energy company Pertamina has reduced domestic aviation fuel prices by 14 percent from Wednesday, citing lower global crude oil prices.
Pertamina said the price of jet fuel at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Banten province was cut to 19,190 rupiah (about 1.07 U.S. dollars) per liter, down from 22,190 rupiah in June, a decrease of 3,000 rupiah per liter.
The company also lowered prices for several non-subsidized fuels, with reductions ranging from 7 percent to 15 percent depending on the product.
Pertamina said the adjustments followed global oil price movements and were made in coordination with the government, while maintaining product quality standards. ■
