MANILA, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Three children were killed after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a truck in Bukidnon province in the southern Philippines on Tuesday morning, according to local authorities.
The motorcycle reportedly lost control while negotiating a narrow road and collided with the truck carrying sugarcane planting materials.
The local disaster risk reduction and management office said the victims were on their way to fetch water for their school. ■
