HANOI, June 30 (Xinhua) -- The Vietnamese government on Tuesday approved a decision to establish a specialized research unit under the prime minister, the Vietnam News Agency reported.
According to the decision, the unit will conduct research and synthesize practical experience to advise on and propose content, mechanisms, policies, plans, solutions, schemes and projects within the authority of the government and the prime minister, as directed, said the report.
Meanwhile, it will be tasked with providing feedback, criticism and suggestions on mechanisms, policies, programs, plans, schemes and projects as assigned, the report added.
The unit will begin operations on July 1, according to the report. ■
