BEIJING, June 26 (Xinhua) -- China's Xinhua News Agency officially launched "Xinhua Yudian," an AI-powered newsbot, in Beijing on Friday.
The newsbot leverages Xinhua's proprietary data and cutting-edge large-model technologies to deliver highly reliable AI-powered content, supporting users in studying, researching, and writing tasks.
The project represents Xinhua's proactive effort to embrace the era of artificial intelligence, said Xinhua President Fu Hua at the launch event.
"Xinhua Yudian" is not only an intelligent tool, but also a platform that Xinhua aims to co-develop with its users through continuous model training and optimization, with a focus on political theories, mainstream values, advanced culture, and authoritative information, Fu said.
The newsbot features four functional modules: AI chat, subscriptions and notifications, knowledge workspace, and AI assistant hub. It offers seven key functions: theory learning, source tracing, news recommendation, news Q&A, information verification, issue analysis, and article drafting. ■
