KIEV, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Two people were injured in Russia's attack on the Ukrainian capital, Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on Friday.
Rescuers extinguished a fire at warehouses in the capital after the attack, according to the State Service for Emergencies.
More than 100 emergency rescuers and 23 units of specialized equipment were deployed to put out the blaze in the capital's Darnytskyi district.
Russian missile and drone strikes also hit industrial facilities in the Kremenchuk district of the central Poltava region, causing a partial power outage, according to the regional military administration.
The Ukrainian Air Force said Russia had launched seven Iskander-M ballistic missiles targeting the Kiev and Poltava regions overnight, along with 189 drones across Ukraine. ■
