SEOUL, June 25 (Xinhua) -- Six fishermen were rescued and two others went missing on Thursday after a fishing boat collided with a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanker off southeastern South Korea, according to Yonhap news agency.
The 79-ton trawler capsized off the southeastern port city of Busan after its collision with the 992-ton LPG carrier at about 10:10 a.m. local time (0110 GMT).
Of the eight crew members on board the capsized fishing vessel, six were rescued and two others remained unaccounted for.
The country's coast guard was conducting a search and rescue operation for the missing fishermen. ■
