BEIJING, June 23 (Xinhua) -- A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of northwest China's Qinghai Province at 11:29 p.m. on Tuesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 37.86 degrees north latitude and 95.54 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 8 km, the center said. ■
