MOSCOW, June 22 (Xinhua) -- Five people were killed in a rocket strike by Ukrainian forces on Russia's Voronezh region, regional governor Aleksandr Gusev said Monday.
Dozens of residents of the city sought medical treatment after the strike, Gusev added.
According to the governor, production facilities of an enterprise in the region sustained damage. In addition, 10 residential apartment buildings were damaged, and 50 vehicles were destroyed.
A state of emergency has been declared on several streets in the region's Zheleznodorozhny district, said Gusev. ■
