FOSHAN, June 19 (Xinhua) -- Sophie Dubois from France is back on the road in China. This time, as the Dragon Boat Festival celebrations unfold, she heads beyond the big cities to Diejiao, a water village in Foshan, Guangdong Province, where age-old traditions flow through narrow canals and high-speed "Waterborne F1" races run through the heart of the village. As Sophie explores Diejiao with her friend Li Lei, she discovers something deeper than dragon boat races: a living tradition shaped by river life, memory, and community.
