ISLAMABAD, June 19 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan on Friday rejected a claim by the Afghan authorities that Afghan forces carried out strikes against militant hideouts in two provinces of Pakistan, describing the claim false and misleading, according to the country's Information Ministry.
Earlier in the day, the Afghan Ministry of Defense said the Afghan air force carried out overnight strikes against several hideouts used by the Islamic State militants in neighboring Pakistan. ■
