BEIJING, June 17 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese mainland is glad to see performing artists visit Taiwan and engage with local audiences, a mainland spokesperson said on Wednesday.
Chen Binhua, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, made the remarks in response to a media query about a mainland actor's participation in a recent cross-Strait forum. ■
