JAKARTA, June 15 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's Minister of Investment and Downstream Rosan Roeslani has proposed a 2027 investment realization target of 2,322 trillion rupiah (around 131 billion U.S. dollars), up 13.8 percent from the 2026 target.
The minister made the remarks during a parliamentary hearing on Monday.
To support the target, the ministry plans to integrate the Online Single Submission system using artificial intelligence, big data, and blockchain technologies to improve the quality and reliability of investment services.
The government is also working to expand the integration of regional spatial planning data into the national licensing system to help accelerate investment processes.
In the first quarter of 2026, investment realization reached 24.4 percent of the annual target, generating employment for more than 706,000 people. ■
