EVIAN, France, June 15 (Xinhua) -- France and Britain are preparing to deploy a joint mission in the Strait of Hormuz with the support of the Netherlands and Italy, French President Emmanuel Macron said Monday.

Macron made the remarks in an interview with French public television channel TF1 during the Group of Seven (G7) summit in Evian, France. ■
