KABUL, June 15 (Xinhua) -- One child lost his life and two others sustained injuries as an unexploded device left over from past wars exploded in Ghazni province, east of Afghanistan, on Sunday, provincial police spokesman Khalid Sarhadi said Monday.
The deadly accident took place outside the provincial capital Ghazni city, killing a 12-year-old boy on the spot and injuring two others, the official said.
Earlier, one child was killed and six others were injured in two separate blasts of unexploded devices in the southern Helmand province on Saturday. ■
