TOKYO, June 14 (Xinhua) -- A 24-year-old man was robbed of 5 million yen (around 31,210 U.S. dollars) on a street in Osaka on Saturday night after traveling to the western Japanese city to buy a car from a seller he had connected with through social media, local media reported Sunday.
The man, from Yokohama near Tokyo, arrived at the agreed meeting point in Osaka's Miyakojima Ward at around 11:15 p.m. local time, only to be attacked by two men who took away his bag containing around 5 million yen in cash, Kyodo News reported, citing the police.
