HANOI, June 11 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's agro-forestry-fishery exports were estimated at 29.82 billion U.S. dollars in the first five months of this year, up 6.1 percent year-on-year, the Vietnam News Agency reported Thursday, citing the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
Of the total, agricultural products generated 15.51 billion dollars, followed by forestry products with 7.65 billion dollars, and fishery products 4.65 billion dollars, the report said.
China was Vietnam's largest export destination, accounting for 20.8 percent of the market share, followed by the United States with 18.8 percent and Japan at 6.9 percent.
During the period, Vietnam's agro-forestry-fishery imports totaled 22.28 billion dollars, up 12.6 percent from a year earlier. ■
