ISLAMABAD, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan's security forces killed 14 terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in the southwestern Balochistan province, the military said on Tuesday.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan army, swift action was undertaken by security forces to thwart the terrorists' operations in Khuzdar district of the province.
Four vehicles used by the terrorists, along with improvised explosive devices, were also destroyed during the operation, it added.
However, a Pakistani soldier lost his life during the intense exchange of fire. ■
