A 7.9-magnitude earthquake struck the Philippine Islands region at 7:37 a.m. Monday, Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 40 km, was monitored at 5.55 degrees north latitude and 125.1 degrees east longitude. (source: PNA)
