TEHRAN, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Tehran will give "a decisive and painful response" to Israeli attack on Beirut's southern suburbs, an Iranian lawmaker said Sunday.
"Look at the sky of the occupied territories tonight," Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesman for the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, wrote on social media platform X.
Earlier in the day, Lebanon's National News Agency reported that Israel launched a fresh airstrike on Beirut's southern suburbs, killing at least two people and injuring 11 others. ■
