BEIJING, June 4 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Peru-Brazil border region at 1721 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 150.2 km, was initially determined to be at 8.15 degrees south latitude and 74.27 degrees west longitude. ■
