BEIJING, June 2 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.5 jolted southern Italy at 2212 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 238.3 km, was initially determined to be at 39.26 degrees north latitude and 15.79 degrees east longitude. ■
