BEIRUT, May 28 (Xinhua) -- An Israeli strike targeted a residential building in the Choueifat area of Beirut's southern suburbs on Thursday, the first such attack after weeks of a halt, according to Lebanon's local television channel NBN.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military also confirmed launching a strike on Beirut. ■
