ISLAMABAD, May 24 (Xinhua) -- Eleven terrorists were killed in security forces' operations in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said on Sunday.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan army, said that the multiple operations were carried out in different areas of North Waziristan district of the province.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the province.
Sanitization operations continue in the area to eliminate other terrorists, said the ISPR.
The military added that the law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country. ■
