BEIJING, May 23 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted Santa Cruz Islands Region at 1930 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 10.63 degrees south latitude and 164.40 degrees east longitude. ■
