KABUL, May 23 (Xinhua) -- Authorities have inaugurated two water supply networks in eastern Afghanistan's Nangarhar province to provide potable water to the locals, the official Bakhtar News Agency reported on Saturday.
Constructed at 6.5 million afghani (around 104,000 U.S. dollars) in Khogiyani district and financed by the government, the facilities can provide clean water to 350 families, the official media outlet said.
Some two weeks ago, the government put into operation eight water supply networks in the northern Takhar province. ■
