BEIJING, May 23 (Xinhua) -- Xu Liuping, secretary of the leading Party members group of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU), a public organization, has been placed under investigation for suspected serious violations of discipline and laws, an official statement said Saturday.
The case of Xu, also vice-chairman of the ACFTU, is being investigated by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Commission of Supervision, according to the statement. ■
