BEIJING, May 19 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted Bouvet Island Region at 1850 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 54.14 degrees south latitude and 1.13 degrees west longitude. ■
