WARSAW, May 16 (Xinhua) -- China has been drawn into Group F alongside Spain, Nigeria and New Caledonia for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup 2026, following the official draw held in Lodz, Poland on Friday.
The tournament, featuring 24 teams across six groups, will take place in Poland from September 5 to 27, with the final scheduled for September 27 in Lodz. The matches will be played across four host cities: Bielsko-Biala, Katowice, Lodz and Sosnowiec.
Host Poland was drawn in Group A with Mexico, Argentina and Benin, while defending champion DPR Korea will begin its title defense in Group E against Colombia, Costa Rica and Portugal.
Poland 2026 will be the country's first major global women's tournament. Benin, Ecuador, New Caledonia, Poland, Portugal and Tanzania are set to make their tournament debuts.
