BISHKEK, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Kyrgyzstan exported 11,799 tonnes of dairy products in the first four months of 2026, approximately 16.7 percent up from the same period last year, the country's Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry said Wednesday.
The increase in exports was mainly driven by rising demand for certain dairy products, in particular, fermented milk products, such as kurut and kymyz, the ministry said in a report.
At the same time, exports of some products, including butter, milk powder, cheese and ice cream, declined compared to the same period last year, according to the report. ■
