BEIJING, May 13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted south of Fiji Islands at 2119 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 173.3 km, was initially determined to be at 23.31 degrees south latitude and 176.16 degrees west longitude. ■
