BEIRUT, May 11 (Xinhua) -- At least seven people were killed and seven others wounded in Israeli strikes across southern Lebanon on Monday, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported.

Two people were killed and five others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the village of Ebba in southern Lebanon. In the Bint Jbeil district, two people were killed after an Israeli drone strike targeted their vehicle in the town of Haris, and a third was killed after an Israeli drone launched a guided missile strike on the town of Yater.

In an Israeli drone strike on the Nabatieh district, Yahya Ali Kobeissi, a bill collector at the Zebdine municipality, and Hussein Ahmad Kobeissi were killed while distributing bread to residents, the NNA reported.

Two paramedics with the Islamic Health Organization's civil defense team were wounded in an Israeli airstrike as they were conducting relief work.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army issued urgent evacuation warnings to residents of multiple towns and villages in southern and eastern Lebanon, sparking a fresh wave of displacement, with hundreds of families fleeing to nearby safer areas.

Separately, the Hezbollah said in statements that it attacked Israeli forces in several villages of southern Lebanon on Monday, using explosive drones and a rocket barrage.

Also on Monday, a shipment of humanitarian and medical aid, provided by the EU and the French government, arrived at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport.

According to data released Monday by the Lebanese Health Ministry, the cumulative toll from Israeli attacks since March 2 has risen to 2,869 deaths and 8,730 injuries.
