YANGON, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed in a road accident in Mon state, southern Myanmar, on Sunday, a local rescue official told Xinhua on Monday.
The accident, involving a motorcycle and a car, occurred at around 4 p.m. local time on Thaton-Hpa-an road in Thaton township, Mon state, the official from the White Heart Rescue Team in Thaton township said.
The three women on the motorcycle, aged between 19 and 20, died at the scene, he added.
Local rescue teams transported their bodies to Thaton General Hospital, the official said. ■
