BEIJING, May 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted south of Fiji Islands at 2315 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 542.3 km, was initially determined to be at 23.46 degrees south latitude and 179.62 degrees west longitude. ■
