MOSCOW, May 10 (Xinhua) -- One child was killed and seven others injured in a road crash involving a school bus and a truck in Russia's Omsk Region on Sunday.
The accident occurred near the 519 km mark of the Tyumen-Omsk highway when a GAZelle bus carrying eight children collided with a heavy-duty truck, according to the regional internal affairs department.
One child died on the spot and seven children were hospitalized, said the regional prosecutor's office.
An investigation is underway to establish the causes and circumstances of the accident. ■
