BEIJING, May 10 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted south of the Fiji Islands at 2039 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 26.84 degrees south latitude and 176.77 degrees west longitude. ■
