ABU DHABI, May 10 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) reported on Sunday that full in-person education will resume nationwide starting May 11.
The decision followed continuous monitoring of regional developments and coordination with relevant authorities to ensure the continuity of education, according to a joint statement from the UAE Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The statement said educational institutions would continue implementing approved security protocols to support the smooth resumption of classroom learning, while remaining prepared to adopt alternative learning models if necessary.
The two ministries also said any further updates would be announced through official channels. ■
