RIO DE JANEIRO, May 10 (Xinhua) -- Substitute Kaique Kenji scored late as Cruzeiro clinched a 2-1 away win over Bahia in Brazil's Serie A on Saturday.

The host took the lead through Luciano Juba's 27th-minute penalty, but Kaua Moraes equalized just before halftime when he combined with Nesier Villarreal and finished clinically past goalkeeper Leo Vieira.

Kenji, who replaced Matheus Henrique at halftime, completed the turnaround by firing into the far corner after Lucas Romero's pass four minutes from time.

Cruzeiro is now 10th in the 20-team standings with 19 points, three behind sixth-placed Bahia.

"I've been working hard and thankfully I was able to contribute today," Kenji said after the match. "I want to thank the manager [Artur Jorge] for the opportunity to play and be a part of this result."

In Rio de Janeiro, Kevin Serna scored in the 90th minute to earn Fluminense a 2-2 home draw with Vitoria.

John Kennedy opened the scoring but Renato Kayzer and Rene struck in the space of four second-half minutes to hand the visitors the lead.

Serna put his side on level terms with a long-range finish following Kennedy's pass on the counterattack.

Fluminense remains third in the standings with 27 points, six behind leader Palmeiras and eight ahead of ninth-placed Vitoria.

In Saturday's only other fixture, Coritiba drew 2-2 at home to Internacional.
