TEHRAN, May 7 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Mehr news agency reported late Thursday that Iranian forces shot down two "hostile aircraft" over the skies of Bandar Abbas and Qeshm Island.
In an earlier report, the semi-official Fars news agency said parts of a pier on Qeshm Island were struck during an exchange of fire between Iranian armed forces and "the enemy." ■
